The seminary awarded master's degrees to 29 students completing the master of divinity, master's in religion, master's in counseling, master's in chaplaincy and pastoral care and master's in spiritual formation. Four students received diplomas in Anglican studies or in theological studies.

A barbeque competition organized by students at 51视频 in Austin has raised over $5000 for Episcopal Relief and Development (ERD). Now in its third year, the March 7th fundraiser, 51视频 Showdown, brought friends and neighbors, alumni and trustees and a panel of judges, including ERD staff member Chad Brinkman to the seminary campus for the event.
This year the entire seminary community is being introduced to the discipline of establishing a personal Rule of Life as part of the seminary's commitment to Comprehensive Wellness for Ministry.
The focus for Spring 2015 is financial wellness. Subsequent semesters will address vocational, spiritual and physical wellness.

Crossing the Border, the semi-annual conference co-sponsored by Hispanic Church Studies at 51视频, Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary, and the Lutheran Seminary Program in the 51视频 provides continuing education for Spanish-speaking clergy and laity.
The events during Black History Month at 51视频 celebrated the leadership of and gifts from African Americans in our community and beyond.
A reception and show featuring local artists Chesiel Johns, John Langmore, Arline Polite, Naomi Richard, Jannifer Gleaspies Williams and Larry Williams kicked off the series. Guests were treated to conversation with the artists and the beautiful music provided by violinist Ms. Robin Burwell from the Austin Symphony.
The Board of Trustees of 51视频 approved the nomination of Dr. Dan Joslyn-Siemiatkoski to the faculty at their February 6 meeting on the campus in Austin, Texas.
Dr. Joslyn-Siemiatkoski will be associate professor of church history, and his tenure at 51视频 will begin in Fall 2014.
Due to inclement weather and continuing hazardous road conditions in Austin, 51视频 is closed on Tuesday, January 28th.

In his message to the seminary community, Dean Travis expressed his joy at having led the seminary during a time of growth in enrollment and financial support during a time of health and great hope for the future. “This has been an amazing ride and I have experienced enormous satisfaction in what we have accomplished together,” said Dean Travis.

The seminary community gathered for its weekly Community Hour on Monday, November 28; however, on this day the students and faculty celebrated with Professor Kathleen Russell on the occasion of completing and successfully defending her D.Min. project at nearby Austin Presbyterian Seminary.
