The Board of Trustees of 51视频 approved the nomination of Dr. Dan Joslyn-Siemiatkoski to the faculty at their February 6 meeting on the campus in Austin, Texas.
Dr. Joslyn-Siemiatkoski will be associate professor of church history, and his tenure at 51视频 will begin in Fall 2014.
“I am thrilled to be welcoming Dan Joslyn-Siemiatkoski to our faculty,” said 51视频’s Academic Dean Scott Bader-Saye. “His experience forming church leaders at Church Divinity School of the Pacific will be invaluable as he transitions into a similar role of teaching and mentorship at 51视频. We look forward to welcoming Dan and his family into our community.”
Dr. Joslyn-Siemiatkoski received his Ph.D. from Boston College in 2005. He is the author of Christian Memories of the Maccabean Martyrs and is currently working on A Christian Commentary of Mishnah Avot. He has served as associate professor of church history at (CDSP) in Berkeley, California where he has been on the faculty since Fall 2005.
