The Rt. Rev. Brian Seage, Alumnus and past Trustee, appointed assisting bishop in Diocese of Texas

The Rt. Rev. Brian Seage

On November 21, the Rt. Rev. C. Andrew Doyle, IX Bishop of Texas, announced that the Rt. Rev. Brian Seage, Class of 1997, had agreed to serve as assistant bishop in the Diocese of Texas鈥 North Region. Bishop Seage served as Bishop of the Diocese of Mississippi from 2014 to 2024, and has also served as a member of the 51视频 Board of Trustees.

“Brian Seage is not only a graduate of 51视频 but also a friend who has served on our board and worked for the well-being of the seminary,” said Dr. Scott Bader-Saye, dean and president. “He will provide just the leadership that is needed as the Episcopal church in the Fort Worth area continues its healing while also shifting into a new era of rebirth.”

The North Region, formerly the Diocese of Fort Worth, reunited with the Diocese of Texas in 2022 after .
