Job Summary

St. Paul鈥檚 is a diverse, pastoral-sized Episcopal parish located in the suburbs of Charlotte, North Carolina.

St. Paul鈥檚 seeks a Rector who will nurture our growth in spirit, faith, and community.

We are seeking someone who is:

Be spiritually grounded and centered in the love of God through Jesus Christ
Demonstrate knowledge of and appreciation for the liturgical and Prayer Book tradition
Maintain humility and a healthy sense of humor
Enjoy building relationships and working collaboratively
Be an engaging and inspiring preacher who makes scripture accessible and relevant
Lead as a servant with passion for mission, pastoral care, and discipleship

Requirements

The Rector will:

Offer compassionate pastoral care, including visiting the homebound
Equip and encourage parishioners to grow as lay leaders
Inspire and expand our youth ministry
Welcome and engage people of all ages and stages of life
Be active in the wider community and invite newcomers into parish life
Encourage innovation while cherishing tradition
Lead collaboratively and delegate with confidence
