Featured artists include dancer Karen Bravo, who will perform Sevillanas, a song and dance form typical of the Spanish town of Seville, but which are sung and danced across the Andalusian region.
will be showing her acrylic on glass paintings. The images represent her transformational journey and are intended to impart the peace, joy and satisfaction found in a life well lived. Also, she will speak on "How it feels to be Latina in the world today," and she will perform her original music compositions.
Mickey Jacobs and Orazzio Loayza, dance instructors at , will perform a dance from Buenos Aires. The melodies, lyrics and moves of the Argentine Tango are known for nostalgia and passion. Once forbidden in proper Argentine society, today Tango is embraced and danced all over the world.
