This is a part-time hybrid Hospital Chaplain role. The Hospital Chaplain will provide emotional support to patients, families, and staff and obtain community spiritual resources. They will also collaborate with medical personnel to address patients’ emotional needs and support ethics committees in challenging situations.
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills
– Experience in providing emotional support and community spiritual resources
– Knowledge of multicultural-religious rites and practices
– Ability to work effectively in a healthcare setting
– Empathy, compassion, and understanding
– Ordination or certification in chaplaincy (preferred)
– Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Divinity, or related field (preferred)
